With each passing day, I miss you in a way I cannot get a hold of myself and my thoughts. As days pass, I acknowledge the pain that comes with your loss. I also learnt that not having the chance to meet you anymore hurts me more deeply than the very thought of you not being around.

I searched the sky and held my hand to you. However, when there was none to hold and caress, I realised that you were too far away, and I could not reach you irrespective of how long I tried to extend my hand. So, I simply looked at you, my heart reaching you yet my psyche struggling to reach you at least once.
